North Davidson Public Library to host a financial planning program for women
For Immediate Release:
The North Davidson Public Library will host a financial planning program for women on Thursday, January 19th at 6 p.m. The program, titled, “Invest in Yourself” will inform participants how to use the resources such as retirement savings or a 401(k).
“Women of all ages are invited to join us to learn about financial planning at all stages of life.
Led by Certified Financial Planner Beth Agnello, this program aims to educate and create a safe
and welcoming place for women to learn how to use the resources they already have to lead the
life they choose,” said Rhett Green, Library Technician at NDPL.
A study conducted by Ameriprise Financial found that 41 percent of women surveyed make their financial decisions without assistance, despite their marital status, with 37 percent of that group either in a relationship or functioning as the primary decision-maker for their home.
North Davidson Public Library is one of five library branches in the Davidson County Public Library System. Located in the community of Welcome, it serves residents in the northern area of the county, one of the fastest-growing areas.
