The funeral service will be Saturday at 12:00 p.m. at First Presbyterian Church with visitation an hour before the service. Entombment will follow at Forest Hill Memorial Park.
Kiwana was the first full-time African American teacher at Lexington Senior High School. She loved encouraging students to learn and follow their dreams. Funeral service will be Wednesday, Dec. 27, 2023 at 12:30pm with family visitation at Noon at St. Stephen United Methodist Church. Burial will follow at South Lexington City Cemetery. Public viewing will be Tuesday from 1:00 to 5:00pm at Roberts Funeral Service.
Mr. Bennett Lewis Miller was born June 15, 1955 in Davidson County to the late Charles D. Miller, Sr. and Louise Gordon Miller.
Alice Mae Nelson was born June 24, 1957 in Chesterfield County, SC to Mary Hough Nelson, affectionately known as “Mae” and the late Clinton Nelson. She transitioned on Friday, September 30, 2022.
The Celebration of Life for Mr. Juan O'neil Small will be conducted at 3:00 PM Saturday, October 1, 2022 at First United Methodist Church, 310 S. Main Street, Lexington, North Carolina with moments of sharing at 2:30 PM prior to the hour of service.
