Former educator Lee Mabe is well-known for his passion for introducing music to an array of voices. As a former educator and Director of Music & Youth Ministry at First United Methodist Church, he has been instrumental in introducing young people to music.

Mabe's personal and professional experience with Kindermusik speaks volumes. Mabe has expressed that his inspiration to support the program stemmed from his own children’s participation. Classes will begin this week and remain open as instructors are certified.

According to the national organization founded in Greensboro, “Every day is a new beginning. A chance to help your child develop his or her highest potential and strongest foundation for learning. Your child's journey to success begins here." Their message suggests that you are instinctively aware that young children thrive on music. FUMC will offer scholarships and an opportunity to purchase books, instruments, and props for home use at kindermusikwithbelinda.mykmshop.com.

"We offer ongoing enrollment, so you can join a class at any time. Every day is a new beginning, a chance to help your child develop their highest potential and strongest foundation for learning," according to First Methodist Church in Lexington. "Your child's journey to success begins here. You're here because you instinctively know what science continues to demonstrate: young children thrive on music. Experience a Kindermusik music class with your child and see why we're the world's leading music-and-movement program for children in early childhood."
