Faith and Fellowship: Finding beauty on a cold day

For everything there is a season the earth moves, in rhythm of the seasons we find winter sometimes to be cold dark and fruitless most things appear to be dull in the winter season. The flowers, the trees are no longer blooming. The winter doesn’t offer the beauty that spring brings with the blooming of nature ,therefore let us not escape the beauty on a cold winter’s day let us endure for a moment the beauty that we see on a cold winter’s day let us walk by faith and not by sight finding the beauty that God offers us throughout this winter season.

Even if it’s cold outside, we can always have a warm heart towards each other. We can always be kind one to another, forgive one another as Christ has forgiven us on a cold winter’s day.Perhaps as we find the beauty on a cold winter’s day may we put off the old self and put on the new self. Let’s be spiritually renewed by the renewing of our minds. Colossians 3:9 teaches us, “Put off the old self and its practices”.

We can always find beauty on a cold winter’s day, remembering that God sent his only son to rise on a cold wintry world, and he promises that the same son will rise again to melt away all the coldness and hatred, cruelties, meanness, and violence that the world has brought.

As believers, we should take temperatures of our hearts  during this cold winter’s day there is beauty

On the cold winter’s day knowing that we can always trust and depend on God, therefore we should always pray that we may be counted worthy to escape all the things that will come to pass and to stand before the son of man.

As we find beauty on the cold winter’s day, we may also  see our strength because the cold months actually can show us how blessed we really are.

The word of God teaches us. Psalm 147:15-18

He sends his command to the Earth; his word run swiftly. He spreads the snow like wool and scatters the frost like ashes.He  hurls down his hail like pebbles. Who  can withstand his icy blast?  He sends his word and melt them; He stirs up his breezes, and the waters flow.

Our God shows his power as we are finding beauty on a cold winter’s day.

The power of God is matched by his purity just as the cold winter’s day, because of his omnipotent power which also points to his unblemished purity in God‘s creation we are as beautiful as a cold winter’s day  today let us now therefore Marvel as we find beauty on the cold winter’s day.

Let us celebrate because our God is so powerful. He can give us cold and joy all on the same day..

As we meditate on the word of God this week, and as we sit in the warmth of our homes, looking out on the cold winter day, as we feel the cold temperatures in the wind piercing, it should always remind us. That God keep his covenant, no matter what the season may be. Let us always remember that our savior is the great Winter King and he always reigns forever. 

Shall we always find beauty on a cold winter’s day.
