36th Annual Memorial Day Parade planned for Thomasville

Join Thomasville, NC for the largest Memorial Day Parade in the Southeast, held in Downtown Thomasville on May 27th at 9:00 a.m.

The Parade begins along Main Street across from the water fountain at the corner of Main Street and Salem Street and will turn down Salem Street continuing to Memorial Park at Stadium Drive.

The parade will conclude with a moving ceremony at Cushwa Stadium at 201 Stadium Drive.

The 36th Annual Memorial Day Parade will be led by two WWII Veterans. There will also be remarkable floats, vintage and modern military vehicles, Gold Star families and much more to see.

Come for this patriotic parade and stay for a very meaningful events at the end of the parade.

Other patriotic festivities include a wreath-laying ceremony, a 21 gun salute, tributes to our Gold Star Families, free food and drinks and paratroopers flying into the stadium, weather permitting.

Let’s take time to honor our Gold Star Families and to appreciate the sacrifices that those who have gone before us have made for us. This is the 36th Annual Memorial Day Parade in Thomasville and will celebrate a day of remembrance for those that protected our freedoms.
