Last night, the Holly Grove and Silver Valley Fire Departments faced an intense and urgent situation as they rushed to tackle a structure fire at 388 Monroe Drive in Thomasville, NC. Upon their arrival, firefighters were met with a dramatic scene: flames were aggressively licking the exterior of a single-family home.

The Holly Grove Fire Department is a volunteer department with approximately forty members. The departments employed strategic fire suppression techniques to monitor and control the devastating blaze. We prioritized establishing a reliable water supply, crucial for dousing the raging inferno that threatened to consume the entire property.

Thanks to the rapid and coordinated efforts of the firefighting teams on the scene, we were able to bring the flames under control, and remarkably, there were no reported injuries.
