Congratulations to the Lexington Thunderbirds, who won the 10-12 Major League division in the joint Lexington and Thomasville Parks and Recreation Baseball League! Teams from both Lexington and Thomasville Parks and Recreation came together to play in a combined league, with a focus on fun, skill development, and individual growth. This is the first time since COVID the league has been able to run, and the teams were ready to get back out there! Teams played an 8 game season, capped off with a bracketed tournament. If you are interested in playing in future Lexington (https://www.lexingtonnc.gov/parksandrec) or Thomasville (https://www.thomasville-nc.gov/departments/parks_and_recreation/) programs, check out their websites!
