Davidson-Davie: Expect traffic changes as part of the highway improvement project

Those traveling to and from the Davidson Campus can expect to start experiencing changes to traffic patterns as part of the highway improvement project in front of our Davidson Campus.

This project will improve access and safety for our current campus and also provide access to surrounding properties for future growth.

- Approaching from Lexington or points south? Prepare to turn left earlier than usual and follow the new detour along Caldcleugh Road.

- Approaching from Thomasville or points north? For now, take Evans Road detour to circle behind campus and approach from the other direction on Old Greensboro Road.

- Returning to Thomasville or points north? Take Evans Road detour.

- Returning to Lexington or points south? Take Caldcleugh Road.
