Search underway for armed and dangerous suspect in Davidson County
The Davidson County Sheriff's Office is actively seeking a 39-year-old man who is wanted for assault and various other offenses. The Sheriff's Office issued a wanted alert describing David Lee Burns, a native of Maryland, as armed and dangerous.
Burns is being sought for assault with a deadly weapon resulting in serious injury, among other charges.
He is characterized as a blue-eyed white male, standing at 5'10 and weighing 160 pounds. He has multiple tattoos covering his body, including on his neck, arms, and hands. Additionally, a report states that Burns has a dollar sign tattoo on his upper body.
