Faith and Fellowship: We Serve A God Of Second Chances

Faith and Fellowship: We Serve A God Of Second Chances

You never get a second chance at first impressions;
However in reality, Our God is a God of second chances, and third chances and many, many more chances. God always gives us A chance to turn back to him and enjoy his love and forgiveness!
God loves everyone and wants to be merciful to every person.
When God gives us a second chance we should not take it for granted, we should always rejoice knowing that we serve a God that is forgiving.

Sometimes we may fall short, but our God with his loving grace and mercy, can and will redeem and restore you.

The word of God teaches, Jonah 1:1-4, Jonah tried to runaway from God, The Lord had given Jonah a work to do in Nineveh to preach,But Jonah headed in a different direction going to Tarshish, Jonah went to Joppa, and find himself on a ship, then the Lord sent a great wind and storm on the sea, Jonah then find’s himself inside the belly of the fish.
Jonah 2:1-9, In Jonah distress, he called to the Lord, and the Lord answered.
Now the word of the Lord came to Jonah A second time, and gave Jonah a second chance, to be obedient to his voice. And Jonah obeyed!

God is so powerful, there are many other saints in the Bible who failed, But the Grace of Our God, gave them a second chance.Second chances with God reveals to us how much God loves us. He is always faithful, just like Jonah sometimes we may be given the choice to obey or disobey.

Let us remember as believers, second chances does not give us permission to sin, As believers we may sometimes find ourselves struggling with sin,
The more we put our trust in God, the more closer we become to him. The blood of Jesus covers all of our sins; past, present and future. We are free and because our God is a God of second chances, we do not have to live in condemnation.
Proverbs 24:16, teaches us, For though a righteous man falls seven times, he will rise again, but the wicked stumble into calamity.

If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins, and purify us from all unrighteousness. Salvation is a second chance to turn to the Lord. Just as God gives us a second chance, let us always remember we to must give others a second chance,Just as God is patient and forgiving, we must learn to forgive.
When we give others a second chance we are becoming more like the God we serve and worship!

As we meditate on the word of God this week, let us remember, Every moment of your life is a second chance, If God gave you a second chance don’t waste it.

May God So Richly Bless!
