A Photo Gallery: Hospice of Davidson County's Night of Reflection
Hospice of Davidson County held their Night of Reflection on Wednesday evening, December 8. It was held in Uptown Lexington on the old courthouse steps. This marks the first time the annual event has been held off campus.
Throughout the evening, many county residents visited to share memories, comfort one another partake in light refreshments, listen to music and learn more about the nonprofit. As the holiday season continues, Hospice continues to offer ways to honor loved ones during this special time.
They’re currently holding their ornament and luminary sale. This year’s memorial ornament is a colorful ceramic rose handcrafted by Jon and Chenoa Colburn of Faded Earth Pottery. Individual ornaments are available for $15 and can be personalized with a name upon request. Luminaries, which can be personalized to honor or memorialize a loved one, are available for $10. An ornament and luminary package may be purchased for $20. To purchase an ornament and/or luminary, please visit hospiceofdavidson.org.
Luminaries will be displayed at the Hospice of Davidson County campus located at 200 Hospice Way, Lexington, NC throughout the holiday season. Each luminary will hold a card honoring or memorializing a loved one. Beginning on Friday, December 10, the community is invited to safely and respectfully drive through campus to experience the luminaries at their leisure.
