Car crashes into Cracker Barrel, leaving one injured

One person suffered minor injuries after a car crashed into the side of Lexington’s Cracker Barrel restaurant in the Parkway Plaza Thursday around noon, according to officials.

Fire officials confirmed that one customer in the restaurant was taken to the hospital with minor injuries when a silver SUV crashed through one of the windows.

The vehicle was removed and the restaurant was able to reopen after several hours.

Officials are still working to determine the cause of the crash. This story will be updated when more information is asvailable.
