Childhood friends set to host Halloween Bash at Breeden Ampitheater
If you’re looking for a family-friendly event to celebrate and showcase your love for Halloween this weekend, you’re in luck. On Sunday, October 30, Hibachi-Me will host its first Halloween Bash at Breeden Amphitheater. Located at 333 S. Main St, the event begins at 2 p.m. and will conclude at 10 p.m. There is no charge for children ages 16 and under. Entrance is free for adults in costume. Without, there is a $10 donation.
The duo behind the bash are childhood friends, Henry Adkins and Rayshann Cotton. They launched their business, Hibachi-Me, a few years ago to promote cohesiveness.
“We have always hosted events, cooked for different friends and family and we decided to create something special for the local Triad area and flourishing community,” said Adkins. “Our mission is to create an atmosphere where our community would be able to come together and support local businesses and offer more of a positive environment for our youth.”
During the summer, Hibachi-Me held a back-to-school festival that served as the motivator to move forward with additional community-bonding events.
From start to finish, the bash will be jam-packed with happenings and offerings. An array of vendors will be present including:

“We have a dozen more from the Triad and surrounding area. Not only did we want to reach out to just our community, but also to different areas of the state. We have accounted for a staggering amount of opportunity across the state of North Carolina to which we want to bring the same opportunity back to our community to share.”
Along with food, attendees will be able to enjoy live music, DJ sets, hometown comedian Julio Hennessey and candy will be passed out to trick or treaters. The schedule for the day is as follows:

While the childhood friends continue to prep for the big day, Adkins is hopeful their vision will be on full display throughout the day.
“My intention for this event is to show that we can bring our community together by showing support for one another and inviting innovative ideas to the community. By supporting all the local businesses and keeping the community informed and involved we hope to make this a better environment for our youth and future youth.”
