Cooking with Cousin Eddie's: BBQ sauce and brownies?

Brownies and hot BBQ sauce? Only the crew at Cousin Eddie’s could think up this crafty combination.

Cousin Eddie’s Chocolate Brownies

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup melted butter

  • 2 cups white sugar

  • ½ cup cocoa powder

  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

  • 4 eggs

  • 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour

  • ½ teaspoon baking powder

  • ½ teaspoon salt

  • ½ semi-sweet chocolate chips or walnuts

  • 3 tablespoons of Cousin Eddie’s desired sauce

Directions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease a 9x13 inch pan or mini muffin pan.

Combine the melted butter, Cousin Eddie’s Sauce, sugar, cocoa powder, vanilla, eggs, flour, baking powder and salt. Mix in semi-sweet chocolate chips or walnuts.

Spread into greased pan and bake for 20 to 30 minutes or until toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean or with crumbs.
