Davidson and Davie Apprenticeship Consortium open house scheduled for Monday, November 14 at Davidson-Davie Community College

WHAT: The Davidson and Davie Apprenticeship Consortium (DDAC) will be holding at open house November 14 at Davidson-Davie Community College from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
The open house will provide information on an apprenticeship through DDAC and its eight member companies.
Apprentices in the Davidson and Davie Apprenticeship Consortium program attend school one day a week at Davidson-Davie Community College and receive on-the-job training four days each week. The program includes competitive pay, a full benefits package, a debt-free associate degree upon completion and eligibility for a full-time job upon graduation.
Representatives of the eight DDAC member companies, BMK Americas, Cascade Die and Casting Group, CMP Wolverine Proctor, EGGER Wood Products, Ingersoll Rand, KURZ Transfer Products, Mohawk Industries and Owens & Minor, will be on hand to discuss their respective companies, benefits and the process of applying for an apprenticeship.
Davidson-Davie Community College will also have representatives to speak about the classroom portion of the program.
