Davidson County property tax scam warning
The Davidson County Tax Office is receiving reports of citizens receiving bogus letters that appear to be from the tax office.
The letter is labeled “DISTRAINT WARRANT” and instructs citizens to act immediately by calling an 800 number to dispute the charges. The letter does not contain a return address or a legible signature of who sent the letter.

Please do not respond to this solicitation and notify the County Tax office if you receive one of these letters. If you receive a real letter from the Tax Office concerning delinquent taxes, it will be clearly marked and have the person’s name you need to contact.
