Davidson County Sr. Assistant Register of Deeds Terri S. Ward wins award

Davidson County Sr. Assistant Register of Deeds Terri S. Ward has been recognized as the 2024 North Carolina Association of Registers of Deeds Charles W. Moore Award Recipient. The North Carolina Association of Registers of Deeds announced and recognized the 2024 Charles W. Moore Award Recipient at its annual state conference at the Fontana Dam Village Resort. There is only one recipient per year that receives this prestigious award.

The Charles W. Moore award is given only to an employee of a Register of Deeds Office. Each District submits a nominee and those nominees are submitted to the voting members of NCARD Executive Committee for consideration.

The Charles W. Moore award is awarded to an individual who goes beyond the scope of their profession and is worded as follows: For superior dedication to the pursuit of professional knowledge and excellence in carrying out the responsibilities in the Registers of Deeds’ Office and activity in their communities.

Mrs. Ward is the first employee in the history of Davidson County Register of Deeds to receive this prestigious award. She is also the first award recipient from Davidson County to be named in the Historic records of the North Carolina Association of Registers of Deeds.

Congratulations from Davidson Local on this award.
