Davidson-Davie Community College Storm basketball team heading to the Final Four

The Storm Basketball team is heading to the Final Four in the NJCAA Division II National Tournament. The team traveled to Danville, Illinois on Tuesday and won in the first round, DDCC - 90 to Muskegon CC (MI) - 73. With five players in double digit points for Tuesday’s game points scored by Jones 18, Douglas 16, Rogers/Boulware 15, Ross 11 Rebound: Rogers 10, Jones 6, Tillman 5 Assist: Rogers 5, the Storm moved to the quarterfinals on Wednesday where they faced Henry Ford College from Dearborn, Michigan. The Storm defeated Henry Ford College; DDCC - 66 to Henry Ford College - 63, with help from points scored by Jones 25, Rogers 11, Douglas 10, Rebounds: Jones 9, Tillman 8, Rogers/Boulware 6, Mebane 5, Assist: Jones 4, and is now heading to the NJCAA Final Four.

The Storm will play in the Final Four Game Friday March 18 in Danville, Illinois against the winner of Sullivan County CC (NY) and Cecil College (MD), tip off at 9:30 pm EST. The NJCAA DII Men’s Basketball Championship games can be watched on the NJCAA link Storm Live you can pay for individual days or the entire championship.
