DDAC to hold signing ceremony for Class of 2025

WHAT:  The Davidson and Davie Apprenticeship Consortium (DDAC) will hold its annual apprentice signing ceremony Friday, August 20, 6:00 p.m. at Sapona Ridge Country Club in Lexington.

The event, which includes a reception and dinner, celebrates the commitment of the DDAC Class of 2025 to the rank of full apprentice.

DDAC is an alliance of manufacturing companies in Davidson and Davie Counties aiming to provide bright futures for tomorrow’s talents through an apprenticeship program. The companies involved in DDAC are EGGER, BMK Group, Wolverine Proctor, Ingersoll Rand, Kurz, and Mohawk.

Apprentices are immediately fully enrolled in the benefit programs of the company with which they commit.

Founded in 2018, DDAC’s goal is to develop, grow and retain a skilled workforce for advanced manufacturing in Davidson and Davie counties while creating a proven education path that provides the foundation to a successful professional career.
