School supply drive will benefit local students
On Friday, August 20, from 2:00 p.m.-6:00 p.m. the Davidson County Association of Teen Democrats (DCATD) will be holding a school supply drive with the help of the Democratic Women and some non-partisan friends. The location is 250 Fairview Dr. in Lexington. This is the second “drive” DCATD has initiated, the first being a food drive to kick off the summer in May.
“Helping others is a non-partisan concept,” states a member of DCATD. Anyone, regardless of political ideology, is welcome to donate any of these items. All donations will go to local elementary schools in Davidson County.
