DDCA hosting signing ceremony for incoming class
The Davidson and Davie Apprenticeship Consortium (DDAC) will hold its annual apprentice signing ceremony Friday, August 19, 6 p.m. at the Mary E. Rittling Conference Center on the Davidson-Davie Community College, Davidson Campus.
The signing ceremony will be held in the second-floor conference room, where there will be a reception following the students’ signing.
The event celebrates the commitment of the DDAC Class of 2026 to the rank of full apprentice.
DDAC is an alliance of manufacturing companies in Davidson and Davie counties aiming to provide bright futures for tomorrow’s talents through an apprenticeship program. The companies involved in DDAC are EGGER Wood Products, BMK Group, Wolverine Proctor, Ingersoll Rand, KURZ, and Mohawk.
Apprentices are immediately fully enrolled in the benefit programs of the company with which they commit.
Founded in 2019, DDAC’s goal is to develop, grow and retain a skilled workforce for advanced manufacturing in Davidson and Davie counties while creating a proven education path that provides the foundation to a successful professional career.
