Disconnection notices sent by Lexington Utilities mistakenly

Disconnection notices sent by Lexington Utilities mistakenly

As you may know, we recently made changes to utility bill due dates, billing routes and billing cycles. While all of these changes will create greater efficiency for all utility customers in the long run, implementing multiple billing changes at once has caused a glitch in our system. This inadvertently caused reminder notices to be sent out mislabled as disconnection notices.

We apologize for any confusion to our customers. As we work through these changes during the month of December and into January, no late or nonpayment fees will occur to benefit all customers.
