For many the Fall season signals a time to eat. A perfect time for OVER 60 Regional RESTAURANTS, CRAFT BREWERIES, AND COCKTAIL BARS OFFERING SPECIALS to host a Chef and Restaurant Worker Appreciation Event in collaboration with several organizations. The culinary event kicks off Monday, October 23, as Eat Drink Triad and Duke’s Mayo will host Eat. Drink. Restaurant Week to bring attention to locally-owned restaurants, craft breweries and cocktail bars.

This year’s campaign will run during the week of October 23rd-29th and feature specials ranging from burgers, sandwiches, chicken, seafood, craft beer and cocktails at participating restaurants, breweries, and bars in participating cities – Winston-Salem, Clemmons, Kernersville, Greensboro, High Point, Jamestown, Asheboro and Davidson County.

Beverage specials will include paying homage to the classic domestic style lagers we know and love, crisp, light-bodied, and clean with a very dry finish, it’s similar to your favorites domestic … but different {Goose and the Monkey Brewhouse}. Across the way, Bull City Ciderworks will feature Oh Honey! Maker’s Mark, house made cinnamon simple syrup, topped with Sweet Carolina honey-apple hard cider.

Enjoy foodie specials such as Roots on Main’s Fried Green Tomato Sliders with Conrad & Hinkle pimento cheese, fresh Angus patty, baconnaise featuring Duke’s Mayo, served with a choice of one side. Known for some of the best burgers around Nick’s Old Fashioned Hamburgers will feature a special Brunchie Burger of fresh blend of Angus beef, topped with a fried egg, bacon, cheese, and grape jelly.

“We wanted to participate simply because it’s fun to do different things. It brings attention to our industry and it is a great way to meet and participate with industry peers., “said co-owner Amy Brauer. “There is a lot that goes into and It is an awesome event they put on for us. We couldn’t be more appreciative.”

JJ’s Mama’s Soulfood is scooping up a unique twist on a pineapple bowl with a Soul Pineapple Bowl cored out pineapple, cornbread bottom, 4 crispy wingettes or baked leg quarter on top with Duke’s Carolina Gold, choice of two sides. This is just to name a few of the mouthwatering delights.

This weeklong culinary extravaganza aims to drive traffic to local restaurants through dine-in and carry-out orders, all while honoring local culinary talent.

On the brink of Lexington’s Barbecue Festival, Davidson County has a culinary reputation to uphold. Chef John Wilson of Sophie Cork and Ale was the inaugural contest winner. This year, local restaurants will include:
