Lexington, NC – Uptown Lexington, Inc., is excited to present our St. Patrick’s Day Celebration and Bar Crawl. It will begin on March 16th and will end on March 19th. There will be 10 bars serving up a variety of adult beverages. There will be horse and carriage rides available for a fee to take patrons from bar to bar on Saturday from 6:00pm-10:00pm. Participants can visit any of the participating locations, receive four stamps on their punch card and be entered to win a prize basket filled with unique items from merchants in Uptown Lexington!

Thursday, March 16 begins the first “Third Thursday” initiative to be held in Uptown Lexington. It will provide a platform for merchants to showcase their businesses and to experiment with later hours. The purpose of this initiative is to offer the community opportunities to shop outside of normal business hours. Participating merchants in Uptown Lexington will be open until 8:00pm the third Thursday of each month.

On Wednesday, April 12, Uptown Lexington will host a historic tax credit seminar in conjunction with NC Department of Natural and Cultural Resources, and Maurer Architecture. The seminar will be held at Lexington Tourism Authority from 8:30-3:30. Pre-registration is required (www.tinyurl.com/lexnchtc2023) and lunch will be provided.
