Faith and Fellowship: The Blood Still Works

Faith and Fellowship: The Blood Still Works

The Blood of Jesus still works, and not only does the blood work for eternity, but it covers us while we live. This means “ the adversary can’t kill us, our enemies can’t harm us and sin can’t control us” all because of the blood.

The blood of Jesus continues to flow. The Holy Spirit is the true blood of Christ which is still flowing and cleansing souls from sin. Revelation1:5 says “He is the blood of Christ, which through the eternal spirit offered himself unblemished to God, cleanses our consciences from acts that lead to death”

Paul teaches us in Romans 3:25 “ Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness from the remission of sins that are past through forbearance of God”.

The Blood is spoken around 427 times in the word of God. Without the blood, the Gospel is dead and deprived of eternal life. It is through his blood we are saved, sealed and secured until the great day of redemption. Ephesians 1:7 teaches us “In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses, according to the riches of grace.

A wise person once said that “wherever you cut the Bible it will bleed,” which simply means that the subject of the blood flows through the Bible, just as it does our veins. As we journey through life we should always have a song in our heart. I am reminded of a song that comforts my heart. It says “ The blood that Jesus shed for me way back on Calvary, the blood that gives me strength from day to day it will never lose its power.” The song goes on to say, “It reaches to the highest mountain and it flows to the lowest valley, the blood that gives me strength from day to day it will never lose it’s power.”

Someone may ask how do you know that the blood still works. You can simply respond by stating I know it Works because it raised me. I know it Works because it saved me. I know it Works because it filled me. I know it Works because it healed me. It will never, never, never lose it power. “The Blood Still Works.”

Jesus gave his blood to secure us to himself. No one or nothing can break through the barriers of the blood.

As we meditate on the Blood of Jesus this week, let us rejoice knowing without doubt. The Blood satisfies ,secures, sanctifies, safeguards and surrenders.

May God so richly bless!
