Faith and Fellowship: What the World Needs is Love
It’s has been stated that Love is what Love does.
1 Corinthians 13:4-5 tells us that Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boost, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs.
Whoever lives in Love lives in God and God lives in them. In our society today. Love is what Love does and we should Love with selfless Love. Which is simply giving without any expectations of receiving anything in return. So many ways we can show our love today. Remember Love isn’t Love until you give it away.
Just a nice smile and a quick hello to a person is a beautiful way of spreading love. Jesus spoke in the book of Matthew 22:37-39 - Jesus replied Thou shalt Love the Lord thy God with all thy heart and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. This is the first and great commandment. And second is like unto it, Thou shalt Love thy neighbor as thyself.
Someone once asked the question what’s going on in our world today. I smiled and stated What the world need now is Love sweet Love. This week as we meditate on Love let us remember the greatest sacrifice ever given to us through love can be found in the book of John 3:16 For God so Love the world that he gave his only begotten son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish. but have everlasting life.
Remember Love is an action word! Love isn’t Love Until you give it away!!
