Fall is in the air at the Lexington Farmers Market

Fall is in the air at the Lexington Farmers Market

Last weekend the market was so relaxing and cozy with the fall weather moving in, this weekend will be the same and vendors are bringing a new wave of products with the changing season.

Goat cheese, coffee, chicken pies, herbal tea blends, fudge, jams and preserves, handmade gifts and apples from the mountains are just a few examples of what new products you can find this weekend and through the early autumn season. There is stil some produce as well, as the growing season is not over yet. This Saturday will feature the Master Gardeners with information about enhancing your fall garden and enjoy the live music of Ken Davis as you shop.

Remember to mark your calendars for October 5th, when the Lexington Farmers Market  hosts a special Farm Fest at Bull City Ciderworks from 4 p.m. until 9 p.m. It will be an amazing day filled with games, music and a delicious dinner prepared by Chef Tyleata Jones of JJ's Mama's Soulfood & More. See the graphics below the vendor list for more details, and purchase tickets here!

In the meantime, we will be selling 50/50 tickets at the Depot starting this Saturday.
