Advocate Family Law Group wins Top 500 Award

Advocate Family Law Group wins Top 500 Award

In Texas on January 14, Advocate Family Law Group was awarded the 24th fastest growing law firm in the United States. April Craft Crawson Law Firm began in 2013 but rebranded in 2019. The firm, located at 102 W 1st Ave. Ste. C, Lexington, is listed as General Practice, which includes adoptions, wills and estates, traffic violations and education law.

Crawson, a former educator in Davidson County, attended Elon College and earned a B.A. in 1993 followed by law school at Wake Forest University with a J.D. in 2001. She is married to retired Davidson County Social Worker Courtney Crawson. The two attended the ceremony in San Antonio.

This is highly competitive and the top 500 firms are narrowed down to the top 150. With much pride, April’s husband Courtney wrote, “This is pretty amazing for a firm in such a small town to experience this level of growth. This awards banquet and honors ceremony has thousands of law firms from across the US represented. We beat out firms in Los Angeles, New York, Atlanta, Miami, Dallas and many other larger cities.”

April credits her amazing team and the ability to help more and more clients facing tough situations in family law. “April and I took the step to grow four years ago when we decided to learn business together.”

The mission of Law Firm 500 is “to celebrate and honor law firms that have experienced major growth over the last year and to offer value-packed training and strategies to law firm owners who are serious about doubling their revenue, serious about learning what it takes to run a successful business and serious about creating FREEDOM.” The group specifically says, “You do not have to be making millions of dollars or be running a huge firm to secure a spot on the Law Firm 500 list. This award is based on rate of growth, not revenue.”

“Our plans for expansion and growth have only started.” April continued, “Being nationally recognized is validation that the work we do is making a positive difference in a lot of people’s lives. We know we have an amazing team of lawyers, paralegals and support staff who work hard to serve our clients. They enable our firm to serve many more people than ever before. This award acknowledges their contributions.

“Looking ahead, Courtney and I have a mission and vision to positively impact as many families going through difficult times and to continue to find new ways to help families and kids going through transitions.”
