Grape Escape Vineyards officially closes

The Grape Escape Vineyards in Davidson County announced the official closing of the vineyard yesterday with a post on their Facebook page.

Owner, Kym Small scribed a message to former patrons and vendors expressing both sadness and gratitude for their journey with The Grape Escape Vineyards. The post also stated that the vineyards were also now considered private property.

The Grape Escape Vineyards was the scene of a tragic shooting which occurred on Monday, June 17th, when co-owner Neal Thomas died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound after a domestic disturbance and lengthy standoff with Davidson County Sheriffs.

This case is still under investigation by the State Bureau of Investigations and no further information is available at this time.

We will keep you posted as more details are available.
