Hartley selected as NCLGISA’s 2021 IT Professional of the Year

Davidson County CIO, Joel Hartley, has been selected as the NCLGISA’s (North Carolina Local  Government Information Systems Association) 2021 IT Professional of the Year. The award  was presented to Mr. Hartley at the Fall Symposium held at Asheville’s Renaissance Hotel on  October 20 – 21, 2021. He was nominated by a coworker and competed for the title against  other very worthy opponents. The NCLGISA Board bestowed this prestigious honor to Mr.  Hartley based on his demonstrated strong work ethic, servanthood, leadership, honesty, and  integrity in all that he has done and continues to do for Davidson County and the NCLGISA  community. 

NCLGISA is an association of North Carolina local government information technology  professionals. Its purpose is to assist its members in sharing experiences and ideas and in  undertaking cooperative efforts intended to achieve the association’s goal of improving the  effectiveness of local government information systems. The association is an affiliate member  of GMIS, an Association of Government IT Leaders.
