High Point man arrested for armed robbery in Lexington
On December 1, 2024 at 7:43 p.m. officers with the Lexington Police Department were dispatched to CK Hop In & Out located at 905 South MLK Blvd. in reference to a robbery in progress. A man entered the store, threatened the use of a handgun and left the store with an undisclosed amount of money.
Officers located a male that matched the suspect description in the area which led to the male running from officers on foot. The male was arrested on Hoover Drive near Carolina Avenue and was identified as Terry Antonio White, age 33 of High Point.
Throughout the course of the investigation White was also linked to a robbery of the CVS located at 309 East Center Street. This incident occurred on Saturday November 30, 2024, at 8:27pm. White threatened the use of a firearm at the CVS, moved an employee from one place to another and left the store with an undisclosed amount of money. White was also wanted on a probation violation by the US Marshall’s Office.
White has been charged with the following:
Two counts of robbery with a dangerous weapon.
Second degree kidnapping.
Resisting a public officer.
Federal probation violation.
White is being held in the Davidson County Jail under no bond and is scheduled to appear in Davidson County District Court on 12/20/2024.
