Hospice to bring back summer opportunity to remember loved ones

LEXINGTON, N.C. – (April 14, 2023) – Hospice of Davidson County is bringing back an opportunity for the  community to remember loved ones and honor cherished memories through its summer memorial event.

Light the Way Home will take place Wednesday, May 3 at 7 p.m. on Hospice of Davidson County’s  campus. Community members will have the chance to create their own mason jar luminary while  enjoying light refreshments and partaking in a short program to remember loved ones. Participants will  also have the opportunity to purchase a handheld labyrinth that can be personalized with a name upon  request. The labyrinth is handcrafted by Breanna Macon, of Macon a Mess Pottery, in Seagrove, and  was the artist who created last year’s memorial ornament. The handheld labyrinth can be purchased for  $15.

Registration is required for this event, but is free to do so. To register, please visit hospiceofdavidson.org or  call (336) 474-2069.
