Light Up the Block Winners

The annual Light Up the Block Contest, a dazzling celebration of creativity and holiday spirit run by Lexington Parks and Recreation, has concluded with 20 homes illuminating Lexington in a radiant display of lights and decorations. After much anticipation, we are delighted to announce the winners in various categories. See all the the beautiful homes on the Lexington Parks and Recreation Facebook page.

The Community Choice winner, 100 Tyler Drive, truly captured the hearts of neighbors, friends, and visitors with their festive display, securing the top spot. Over 1000 total votes were cast in online voting, and 100 Tyler Drive narrowly beat out 208 Tannin Way for the Community Choice Award.

Our panel of judges had the challenging task of selecting winners in the remaining categories. The level of creativity and dedication displayed by all participants made this year's competition particularly tough to judge.

The Light Up the Block Contest not only brought holiday cheer to the neighborhood but also showcased the unity and spirit of our community. We extend our sincere appreciation to all participants for their enthusiasm and commitment to spreading joy during this festive season. Pictures do not showcase the true beauty of these displays, so we encourage everyone to go out and see these homes in person.
