It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas
Many people will be mailing out Christmas cards to their friends and family near and far. We see the bell ringers out in force. We look forward to seeing Christmas plays and enjoying Christmas movies playing on our television screens. Yes, it’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas!
Our schools are out on Christmas break we see Christmas decorations all around our neighborhoods. We find ourselves attending Christmas parties and enjoying the atmosphere of smelling gingerbread cooking. Oh yes! it’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas.
Yes, there are many Christmas parades we may attend with great laughter and joy to see the excitement on the faces of all those celebrating the season of Christmas. We enjoy the Christmas lights making us feel holly and jolly.

The world has an idea of what Christmas looks like.
There is good news! For the believers, Christmas looks like Jesus Christ.
The Angels proclaimed his birth to the shepherds.
“The King of Kings lay thus in a lowly manger in all our trials born to be our Friend!”
May we always reflect on the scripture John 3:16,
For God so Loved the world that he gave his only begotten son, that whosoever believe on him shall not perish but have everlasting life.
He was the perfect gift! He was given to us out of a heart of Love.
Christmas is knowing Christ!
The songwriter penned it by saying, It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas, everywhere you go!
Let us go out and spread Christmas joy one to another. Let us take time to pray for each other.
Shall we always remember to share the true spirit of Christmas.
The best gift we can give to someone is the gift of Love.
As we meditate on the word of God this week let us remember, As it’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas, may we watch and wait that along with Christmas arrival we to are people that are waiting the great arrival of Christ coming.
