Faith and Fellowship: God's Amazing Grace

“Amazing Grace how sweet the sound that saved a wretch like me.” These are words that each and every believer may echo. God loves us so much that he continues to gift us everyday with his Amazing Grace, We as believers understand that it is a gift that God gives us, generous and free, unexpected and undeserving.

God’s Grace is given to us by unmerited favor, that takes the form of divine love, and a share in the divine life of God. Genesis 6:8 states “But Noah found Grace in the eye of the Lord” this is the first time the word grace or favor is mentioned in the Bible.

We may ask why would God continue to give us his Grace, even when we may break his heart at times, we can always sing with assurance. I once was lost but now I’m found was blind but now I see. It’s God Amazing Grace. Grace is mentioned 170 times in the word of God. Whenever you feel down or in despair always remember 2 Corinthians 12:9 ,But he said unto me, My Grace is sufficient for you, for my strength is made perfect in weakness, therefore I will boost all the more gladly about my weakness, so that Christ power may rest on me. God is so Amazing that is why we as believers trust in him with all our hearts.

Let us reflect on Ephesians 2:8-9, For it is by Grace have you been saved, Faith and through this is not from yourselves, it is a gift of God. Not by works, so no one can boost.

As we spend time with the Father this week let us remember to Thank God for his Grace that flows from the essence of his being.
