This week Davidson County will become a fierce foodie scene.
Eat. Drink. Restaurant Week! 2023 officially launches on Monday, Oct. 23rd. Food lovers are invited to come and enjoy a specialty dish from a competing restaurant for a discounted rate. Restaurants across the Triad will compete in multiple categories including:
Craft beer, cocktails, burgers, pizza, wings, Italian, seafood, Mexican, BBQ, Soul or Southern, Deli/ Bakery, Classic American. Davidson County has a hefty reputation to uphold. Chef John Wilson at Sophie’s Cork and Ale and Tyleata Jones of Jj’s Mama’s Soulfood & More are a few of the past winners in the regional categorized competition.

Eat Drink Restaurant week compliments the “cue” up of the 38th Annual Lexington Barbecue Festival. The events, unaffiliated but falling on the same week, create the perfect blend of food options for every taste bud.
The festival celebrates and serves one style of barbecue … Lexington Style. The delicious fun begins on Oct. 28th from 8:30 am to 6 pm. Admission is free and world-famous BBQ will be available for purchase on The Square in Uptown Lexington. Expect more than 200 vendors, six entertainment stages, performers, children's area, 50-ton pig-themed sand sculpture, car shows, dinosaur exhibit, bicycle stunt show plus a host of music and entertainment.
