Lee Mabe to be featured honoree at Arts Spotlight

Arts Spotlight Lexington 2023 will honor the legacy of Lee Mabe, retired Choral Director for Lexington Senior and Middle Schools for 32 years.  The event will be held at Edward C. Smith Civic Center in Uptown Lexington, NC, on Saturday, March 4, 2023. 

Tributes to Lee Mabe will be held at 7:30 and performances will be by alumni of Lexington High School. Tickets for the event will be for sale for $20 at www.harrisscholarship.org beginning Friday, February 3.  Tickets will also be available at the door prior to the event.

All proceeds will benefit The Evelyn Harris Performing Arts Scholarship, which awards scholarships to Davidson County students who will pursue the performing arts at a higher level institution. The scholarship honors the legacy of Evelyn Long Harris, who poured her love of the arts into countless local youth through Lexington Youth Theatre and many other organizations.
