LEXINGTON – The Lexington Area Chamber of Commerce is excited to announce the launch of its Virtual Christmas Celebration.

Due to the continuing global pandemic the Chamber has elected to again hold its annual fundraiser virtually this year and the celebration, like last year, includes, a virtual online auction and a winner-take-all “Tour of Davidson” raffle basket. The raffle basket currently contains over $1,000.00 in gift cards and gift certificates from local businesses and restaurants with more being added daily. Tickets for the raffle basket are one for $5.00, three for $10.00 or five for $15.00 and available for purchase on-line. The total value of the raffle basket will continue to increase as more and more gift cards and gift certificates are being added on a daily basis.

The virtual auction this year is open to the public and currently contains 43 items to bid on. The items include, but are not limited to, stays at several mountain vacation homes, a local B&B, items from numerous master craftsmen in the Lexington, Davidson County and Triad area, numerous business advertising opportunities, foodie and wine options, gift baskets, and an amazing opportunity with our local Bull City Ciderworks.

To view and bid on the auction items and purchase raffle basket tickets visit the Chambers Christmas Celebration Event Landing Page at

There is something for everyone this year and the Chamber encourages the community to take advantage of this opportunity by taking part and bidding on the item(s) of their choosing and or purchasing a raffle basket ticket.
