Lexington City Schools approves 2024-2025 calendar

At the recent Board of Education meeting on March 5, 2024, Lexington City Schools took a significant step in preparing for the upcoming academic year by approving the 2024-2025 District Calendar. 

“We are pleased to announce the approval of the 2024-2025 District Calendar, which reflects our commitment to academic excellence and student success," stated Dr. Nakia Hardy, Superintendent of Lexington City Schools.

 Dr. Hardy also noted, “this decision was made in response to valuable feedback from our teachers, staff, and the community, as the Board and I carefully considered their input to ensure the approved calendar aligns with the needs and preferences of all constituents.” 

Lexington City Schools is dedicated to collaborating closely with staff, students, and families to address any challenges families may have after reviewing the calendar. They are excited about the 2024-25 academic year and welcoming  students back in August.

Our steadfast commitment to delivering high-quality education and support services to our students and community remains unwavering," Dr. Hardy affirmed, eagerly anticipating welcoming students back to school on August 12, 2024 and to continuing their journey of excellence together.
