Lexington Fire Department responds to residential structure fire at 812 Fairview Dr.

Lexington, NC — March 16, 2025 — At approximately 3:18 p.m. on March 16, 2025, the

Lexington Fire Department responded to a residential structure fire at 812 Fairview Dr., Building 450, Apartment A. Crews arrived to find visible fire and smoke coming from the apartment, and mmediately initiated a fast fire attack to bring the fire under control.

The fire was successfully contained within 30 minutes, and no injuries were reported. Two adults were displaced as a result of the fire. Emergency responders from the Lexington Fire Department, Lexington Police Department, Davidson County EMS, and the Lexington Fire Marshal’s Office assisted on the scene.

The cause of the fire is currently under investigation by the Lexington Fire Marshal’s Office. Battalion Chief Waylon Turbeville was the Incident Commander, overseeing the coordinated response efforts.
