Local football games move to Thursday due to Hurricane Ian

Hurricane Ian isn't expected to provide damaging impacts from the storm, but possible rain events on Friday have caused several local high schools to move Varsity Football to Thursday night. 

VARSITY GAME CHANGES DUE TO POTENTIAL RAIN FROM HURRICANE IAN:

  • Providence Grove vs. Trinity (7 pm Thursday)

  • Central Davidson vs. Ledford (7:30 pm Thursday)

  • Thomasville vs. West Davidson (7:30 pm Thursday)

  • Oak Grove vs. Asheboro (7:30 pm Thursday)

  • North Davidson vs. Montgomery Central (6:30 pm Thursday)

  • East Davidson vs. North Rowan (7:30 pm Thursday)

  • Central Davidson vs. Ledford (7:30 pm Thursday)

    Note: Lexington Senior High School does not have a game this week
