Lexington Police Investigate Train Accident Involving Pedestrian

LEXINGTON, NC – {November 3rd}, around 3:35 pm, Lexington Police Officers were dispatched to a death investigation involving a pedestrian and train on Railroad Street and 2nd Street.

Investigators identified the pedestrian to be 45-year-old Kelly Allen. Allen was struck by a northbound Norfolk Southern Train.

This investigation is still open, and Lexington Police continue to work with Norfolk Southern Railroad Police investigators.
