Pools to open for the season: Make a splash in Lexington
Everyone knows that summers get hot in Lexington, and Lexington Parks and Rec has the solution! The Washington Park Splash Pad is 4,000 square feet of awesome Splash Pad fun, with restrooms, shelters, and a playground beside it. The park also features a full size basketball court and a paved walking trail. If you would rather go swimming, check out the Lexington Aquatic Park, a competition-size swimming pool with a zero-depth entry and splash features!

The cost is $2 for ages 0-17, and $4 for ages 18 and up

Thanks to the Lexington City Council, June 15, 22, 29 and July 6, 13, and 20 have been designated as free admission days at the Lexington Aquatic Park. The first 50 kids on these dates under the age of 18 will receive free admission to the pool. The Lexington City Council has designated funds from their Neighborhood Revitalization Funds to allow free swim days for children this summer, as they have for many years.
