Meet the moderators for The Lexington City Council forum on April 5th

Community questions for candidates are rolling in and The Lexington Area Chamber of Commerce and Davidson Local are teaming up to share more about local candidates. For those who attended Chamber forums in the past, expect a few twists on the traditional format. This will include multiple moderators.

Moderators for the three forums will include:

“In an effort to be more inclusive this year, the Chamber and Davidson Local made the decision to have multiple moderators that are more representative of the registered voters in the City of Lexington and the candidates that are running for elected office.,” said President of The Lexington Chamber Joe Wallace. “Our hope is that this will spur greater interest in the election process and therefore generate a higher voter turnout.”

The first forum will take place on Tuesday, April 5th at the Edward C. Smith Civic Center from 6pm to 8pm with a Livestream on Davidson Local’s Facebook page.
