Mobile breast center will offer mammograms at local non-profit
The Novant Health Breast Center mobile unit will be on-site at Cancer Services of Davidson County on Tuesday, August 10 from 9:00 a.m. until 3:50 p.m. Cancer Services is located at 25 West 6th Avenue Lexington, NC, 27292.
The mobile unit features state-of-the-art 3D digital mammography, an expert team of technologists and on-site convenience with the luxury and privacy of a traditional imaging center.
Do I need an appointment?
An appointment is required. Please call Cancer Services of Davidson County at 336-249-7265 for an appointment.
Is this covered by insurance?
Screening mammograms are covered as preventive care under most insurance plans. For your convenience, we will file a claim with your provider on your behalf.
What if my last mammogram was not at a Novant Health facility?
You can still receive a mammogram at our mobile mammography unit. Our team will contact your
previous provider to obtain films from your most recent mammogram. Past results are necessary to ensure
that no changes have occurred in your breast health.
