IT’S FIVE O’CLOCK EVERYWHERE
Mocktails are crafted mixed drinks that have the same refreshment as a traditional cocktail, only without the alcohol.
They are great to serve at any celebration because of their mass appeal due to the fact that anyone can consume them.
Another good reason to serve mocktails is the fun that you will have dressing up the glass and creating combinations of your own.
Here are a few mocktails that we crafted for this Holiday Season.
Cheers!
The Uptown
Add cranberry juice to a tall glass and top with lemon flavored sparkling water
Garnish with lime and then top with a wig of cotton candy.
Our next mocktail is a play on one of the most popular cocktails of all time, the Old Fashioned.
Here is our newly crafted version. Our drink is named the High Fashion.
High Fashion
In an old fashioned glass combine a few drops of bitters, and 1 ounce of grenadine. add ice and pour in
sparkling cranberry seltzer then garnish with a cherry and an orange slice. Add three red hot candies
The Evergreen
Make a mint simple syrup by boiling 3 sprigs of fresh mint with 2 cups of water and 1/2 cup of sugar for
5 minutes. Allow the syrup to cool before using. Now pour 1 ounce of the mint simple in a glass and top
with ice and sparkling seltzer water. Garnish with fresh mint, cucumber and a lemon wheel.
Family Punch
This recipe is a crowd pleaser and can be easily “spiked” for single servings with the spirit of your
choice, or not.
In a punch bowl or large beverage dispenser combine 1- 2 liter ginger ale, 32 ounces pineapple juice, 32
ounces apple juice and
32 ounces of Lemonade, Mix well and serve over ice.
