...WINTER STORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL MIDNIGHT EST

TONIGHT...

* WHAT...Isolated mixed precipitation expected. Most of the ice

  and snow accumulation has already occurred. Winds gusting as

  high as 30 mph.

* WHERE...Portions of central North Carolina.

* WHEN...Through midnight tonight.

* IMPACTS...The strong, gusty winds in addition to ice will

  result in numerous to widespread power outages. Travel could

  be nearly impossible.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If you must travel, keep an extra flashlight, food, and water in

your vehicle in case of an emergency.
