NC Department of Correction is currently investigating escape of local inmate Johnny Porche

The NC Department of Correction is currently investigating the escape of inmate Johnny Porche. The escape occurred early this morning from the correctional center located at 1400 Thomason Street in Lexington. Porche is 5’9”, 164 lbs, and was last known to be wearing a gray shirt and white pants. If you have any information or see him please do not approach and call 911. Any media inquiries should be directed to the NCDOC.
