One-Month culvert replacement coming to Davidson County

One-Month culvert replacement coming to Davidson County

LEXINGTON – The N.C. Department of Transportation will close a road in Davidson County for a one-month culvert replacement starting next week.

On Nov. 7, maintenance crews will be closing Kepley Road to replace the existing drainpipe with a larger aluminum arch culvert with headwalls. Work is expected to be complete by Dec. 9, depending on weather.

Motorists are advised to use Conrad Hill Mine Road, Old U.S. 64 and Old N.C. 75 as a detour route.

Drivers should remain alert and slow down while adjusting to detours.
