Friday Night Lights Roundup: Playoff Edition
Five Davidson County teams were in action Friday night in the first round of the North Carolina High School Athletic Association's football playoffs.
• The Thomasville Bulldogs defeated Highland School of Technology 62-0. The Bulldogs will play S. Stokes next Friday night at home.
• North Davidson were winners over with a score of 59-14 over West Henderson. The Black Knights will host Hickory at home next Friday.
•In-county rivals, Ledford and Central Davidson met on the gridiron. The Ledford Panthers emerged victorious with a score of 28-21. Greensboro's Dudley High School will welcome the Panthers next week.
• Oak Grove High School lost to East Lincoln 14-22.
